Beach day ‘to be great’

LLANFAIRFECHAN is gearing up for its emergency services day on the beach later this month.

Cwmni Penllan’s Emma Jones is excited about the event which is being run in aid of the Light Up Llan Christmas lights fund.

“It should be great,” said Emma.

“There are going to be lots of activities at the beach, with demonstrations from Llanfairfechan’s British International Rescue Dogs, Llanfairfechan Young Firefighters, North Wales Police, mountain rescue, coastguard, cadets, Conwy’s harbour master and air rescue.

The Youth Service and Tea Laughter and Company will also be on hand and Tudno FM will be broadcasting.”

The festivities will run from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, August 30. To book a stall, contact Emma on 01248 681281.
