CONWY’S arts and museums service is calling for artists to exhibit their work at their venues next year.
The council is asking both established and up-and-coming artists to submit their work for consideration for dis-play at the five venues, which include the foyer gallery of Colwyn Bay library, the rotunda gallery of Llandudno library and three museums at Llandudno, the Sir Henry Jones Museum in Llangernyw and the Llanrwst Almshouse Museum.
A wide range of visual art will be considered, including ceramics, drawing, painting, print-making, photography and sculpture.
The arts and museums service will also consi-der any local history or similar exhibitions.
Visual artists who are looking for an opportunity to promote and sell their work or other potential exhibitors should contact Ann Williams, or Sian Hughes on 01492 575571 or 01492 575572.
Or send examples of work, either on a CD or photographs with a short statement about the work, no more than 150 words, and a current CV to: Conwy Arts And Museums Service, Government Buildings, Dinerth Road, Colwyn Bay LL28 4UL.
