Eight it great for boy with gr-eight expectations

BIRTHDAYS for any child are a big occasion, but for Cameron Reece this week’s is a very special one.

Tomorrow Cameron will be eight years old – on the eighth day of the eighth month of 2008! Even this story is on page eight of the Weekly News!

Cameron will be celebrating his birthday in style by going to see Liverpool play Lazio at Anfield on Saturday. Cameron’s favourite player is Steven Gerrard, who coincidentally wears the number eight shirt!

Cameron, a pupil at Ysgol San Sior in Llandudno, said: “I’m really looking forward to my birthday and having a big cake.

“When I’m not playing football I enjoy computer games and am looking forward to getting a new game for my birthday. I also like playing with my little sister Izabelle, who’s two, who I love very much.”

Being big Liverpool fans, Cameron’s proud parents Kelly Hare and Steve Reece have been looking forward to Cameron’s birthday almost as much as he has!

Kelly, who runs the King’s Head pub in Llandudno with Steve, said: “Cameron was a millennium baby, so from the start we knew this would be a special day. He’s quite unique, we don’t know anyone else who has a birthday like this!

“Cameron is such a lovely boy. He dotes on his little sister and is very good, if boisterous, at times. Steve and I are so proud of Cameron and love him very much.”
